The all-new wall mount designed Genie garage door opener models 6170 & 6070 eliminate the traditional rail and powerhead design. These wall mount models attach directly to the garage door's spring tube! 

6170 & 6070 Wall Mount Models Offer: 

- A Cleaner Look: Eliminating the rail and opener from the ceiling brings a clean and open look to your garage. This opens up more room for storage or other purposes.

-Compact: The Compact design fits into tight side room spaces between the garage door track and the wall. 

-Headroom: Ideal for garages with overhead beam obstructions that prevent installing a traditional garage door opener.

Often referred to as a residential jackshaft garage door opener, the wall mount models also include the newest Genie garage door opener accessories. Featuring the wireless wall console, Bluetooth LED light fixture and the door lock. 

Model 6170: Features integrated Aladdin Connect smart garage capability that provides the ability to remotely monitor and control your garage door with your smart device from almost anywhere at any time. Since Aladdin Connect is built into the 6170 wall mount model garage door opener, you do not need to add any other hardware. It works in conjunction with your home router.

The 6170 also includes a battery backup! Getting in about out of your garage during a power outage has never been easier than when your Genie battery backup kicks in. This battery backup makes this model compliant with the California State Law SB-969, which requires all installed garage door openers in that state to have a battery backup. 

Model 6070: Both the Aladdin Connect smart capability and battery backup options can be added later to the 6070 wall mount model, but do not come standard with it.
